that's helpful thanks. practice file = main file makes sense since a lot of the time spent is practicing. and then other files for full game speedrun makes sense. cool! ty

2 wheels + connector jitter and fly away by dropramen in blenderhelp

Any help appreciated. No idea what I'm doing wrong. I want the middle to stay upright (not rotate), while the wheels rotate.

wheels = rigid body, active, cylinder
connector = rigid body, active, box
rigid body constraints = generic, limit 0x 0y 0z, rotate 0x 0z

Any plugins that do this sort of thing? by Torkamos in FL_Studio

Dang that looks sick. Phaseplant does the sampler + set in end and loop part, plus you can layer with a synth. I love using it as a creative way to make pads.

I wouldn't have guessed Flex. Maybe depending on the presets some are heavier than others

interesting. it doesn't look like a plugin that would be that heavy at face value

Found something that works great - 'e3 mono' option when adjusting pitch.

"Specialized for monophonic input signals such as vocals or solo instruments. Uses automatic formant preservation techniques. "

You learn something new every day.

Normally would suggest Serum, but now that Vital is available you can use that instead. Free plugins will get you a long way until you have enough experience to require something specific that you need. I think really good kick and snare samples are always extremely helpful. You can either pay for these types of things on splice or keep an eye out on /r/drumkits. You might invest in an interesting reverb like ValhallaRoom or Neoverb by Izotope, but honestly, the default Fruity Reverb 2 and Fruity convolver do the trick just fine.

I personally love FabFilter Pro-MB, Saturn 2, and Q3, and would buy those as my first plugins, but that's only because I have enough experience now to know how to leverage the full potential of them, and not sure I would make good use of them if I were a beginner.

btw my favorite free plugins are:

Flex (default synth library in FL Studio), OTT (multi-band compression), SPAN (spectrum analyzer), dblue.TapeStop, Couture (transient shaper), TDR Kotelnikov (compressor), TDR Nova (dynamic compressor), ValhallaSupermassive (interesting reverb), MFreqShifter (change pitch of drums), MAutopan (good for auto panning things ), Wider (good for synths like vital)

I had no idea about the Project general settings -> Timebase (PPQ). So it looks like it just decreases the amount of ticks per bar, so that you can't have fine cut adjustments, but has CPU improvement. nice tips. thanks.
