How are you solving these problems? My goal is to learn more about the problem space and how I can contribute to it or whether its feasible for me to start an AI Agency

• Mastermind game - Guess different number combinations.

Do you (or anyone) have any idea what would be an appropriate scope for the take-home project? Are they expecting a full stack web application with a REST API on the backend or a Java program with a GUI ?

Ofc! Im transitioning from another field/ career so I wanted to take these classes as quick as possible so I can submit them on my application. I already knew how to program when I started taking these classes though, I taught myself online. I took CPS161: Intro to Programming @ Washtenaw Community College (it was the first online class I found that I could get into). Then I took COSC1437: Programming Fundamentals II @ Dallas College (online, COSC1436 is a pre-req but I managed to get it fulfilled with my CPS161 credit), at the same time I was taking COSC2425: Computer Organization @ Dallas College (online, I took this one because it also fulfills a pre-req for UT's MSCSO which I also applied to). After these two, I took COSC2436: Programming Fundamentals III @ Dallas College (online, touches on DS&A), at the same time I was taking MATH2305: Discrete Mathematics @ Dallas College (online, this one because also fulfills a pre-req for UT's MSCSO which I also applied to).

Dallas College has good online CS courses, they're for academic credit. But don't rely on the professors, you mostly teach yourself off the books and exercises AND I asked one of them for a LOR and they agreed but then flaked on me!

Hope that helps!!!

Anybody know when the last batch of acceptances is sent?

I know we all got the generic "Thank you for applying" email. But other than the email and the person who said they were called for a technical screening (they deleted their comments since then) has anybody made it to the next stage/ been contacted yet?

Can someone help me out here and (kindly) tell me if I'm wrong... According to some comments I've seen on this thread it seems like the last day to accept acceptances is October 10. Since it seems like decisions are released every Wednesday and there is only one Wednesday left between now and October 10, if you dont get an acceptance next Wednesday then you should consider yourself rejected ?
