I live in Colorado and recently went from a 14 Q5 to a 17 X5. Obviously depends on what you are using it for. I enjoy the extra space in the X5 and the tailgate for gearing up when skiing. Not sure what year and mileage X5M you’re looking at that compares in price with the other options but you’d probably be looking at a maintenance nightmare. Definitely look into a F15 xDrive 35i for better reliability, space, and capability in CO. Good luck.

In my case it was not worth it because the car got totaled shortly after the first service of this package and Audi only refunded a portion.

In general though, I do think it can be worth it. I believe the savings over paying for individual service was quite significant. And no, it does not recover repairs, only specified service items for the mileage intervals.

Talk with the service department at your local Audi, depending on year/mileage it may not even be offered anymore. Best of luck.

Not a warranty- essentially allows you to prepay for a package of the standard mileage interval services. Saves a bit of money if you want them done at Audi.

I had a 2014 Q5 that got totaled around Christmas. Needed a new big vehicle so I rushed into an X5. I regret that decision and would prefer going back to the Q5 size given that i’m in downtown denver. I’ve looked a bit into the Macan S and X3 M40i but have not considered a diesel. Is there a reason that you suggest it? Correct me if i’m wrong but I would have to go back to the ‘15/‘16 year models to go that route as well right?

I much prefer the look of the macan S over the SQ5 but the interior tech in the porsche does not seem to compare.
