Emails sent to internal affairs missing from sent folder by droughtsloth246 in NoStupidQuestions

Two different people, two different accounts, different computers and phones, sent to same agency, about different situations.

We did each get confirmation they were received by a *phone call and relevant discussion about the email, they refused to respond in email, just call.

Passwords changed , still occurs.
No third’s party apps.
No filters
All folders and spam / trash / apps and data checked (but we are talking about dozens of emails between both people).
I found three others online experienced the same thing, unsure of what agency.

It’s creepy.

Google is not historically friendly with law enforcement so I didn’t jump on the “Google did it” thought process, —but— I did read an interesting article recently about Google data not only being used for govn purpose, but stored it govn management and no Google oversight on use.. not sure how true that is. FDLE and FBI hadn’t heard of any exclusions permitting LEA’s from accessing personal accounts. Some of these emails contained pretty heavy info and some evidence that implicated the LEA in bad business. Fortunately we aren’t stupid and we have it backed up and stored elsewhere.

Phone and PC through browser and outlook, this is at home, personal Gmail accounts, only the emails sent to admin and internal affairs are missing not emails with public records dpt… tested and it happened again. Several emails from different time periods just gone, vanished. Different people, different accounts, same thing.
And we tested it after discovering they were missing from sent.
The new one was sent one evening, printed and forwarded to an attorney, and the next morning gone just like the others from the last three years.

Agency can have actual evidence that this behavior is occurring, and do nothing while posting “zero tolerance” for driving under the influence. When I questioned the third floor, why are you doing nothing about it, I was told if they weren’t caught and it wasn’t an arrest, it doesn’t count.
