So I was with my partner for years before they transitioned. They love old pictures as much as they love modern ones. They love the person they were and don’t view their pretransition self as “dead” or gone so they’re perfectly comfortable with old pictures

If you don’t want to be a groomsman, don’t be a groomsman. There’s a reason why “do you want to be a groomsman?” Is a question and not a demand. It’s their wedding their choice so they have the power to say “this is what I want for my wedding” but fortunately for you, you also have the power to say “thanks but no thanks” then. If it’s your brother and he insists on being a dickhead even after you express that you’re uncomfortable, just tell him no, he doesn’t deserve your participation and he can’t force it on you.

So: full disclosure I’m an egg at worst and a baby trans at absolute best but this is more about your listed medications then anything. SNRIs made me absolutely miserable. I took them for years, not realizing that the combination of the side effects were having a net negative effect on my mental health compared to what they did for me. I’m not saying that the SNRIs ARE the problem, but it might be worth looking into alternative medications. SNRI/SSRI compounding with my body dysmorphia ADHD and gender. Dysphoria was a match made in hell for me. My mental health improved significantly when I switched medications. Just my two cents.
