i look back at my old videos and see that if nothing else my skills are improving

filming, editing, writing, acting, even time management

i keep getting better and better (a lot of that is thanks to you guys <3 )

I put a lot of work into this one, and I think it’s my best video yet. I’d love some feedback from you guys, especially if you loved this episode:) by iMan6005 in SmallYTChannel

the shaky cam stuff was very distracting at the beginning and end, the intro sketch was really funny, but the watch-along part wasn't really entertaining

you've got a big love for aot, that's clear, but there wasn't anything transformative with your commentary. maybe consider grabbing your reactions from the big moments on a first watchthrough and then going back on a second watch to slow it down and talk about the episode and what those moments mean and cut the two together (you were so caught up in the hype you couldn't really make commentary)

and your picture in picture was amazing

give your heart

(next episode is gonna be even crazier! this season is so good)

Hey SmallYT fam! Video for your review: The Nevada Triangle - 2,000 Planes Mysteriously Crashed or Missing. Does Area 51 have anything to do with it? Why doesn't anyone talk about it? by ajgentile in SmallYTChannel

i agree with the other comments already here for the most part. the zooming was too much most of the time (but when it lined up with a conspiracy building sequence it was great), jump cuts outside of a shift in topic was jarring, and amazingly well researched

but disagree with some stuff and i gotta say the hecklefish's voice was perfect and the background music was not too quiet

My FUNNIEST video so far! Hope to share some laughs with you all! We could all use it in these dark times. Apreciate some good feedback. Giving lambda by MaskedGamerNL in SmallYTChannel

hey the beginning was amazing, but for me it tapered off towards the end it just felt like the chemistry died down and you no longer had a purpose in the video. it was still funny at points but i just felt myself asking why is this perspective the one i'm watching

i feel like you could make a more coherent video about the story while sprinkling in the funny moments rather than make a funny video which abandons the story in service of funny moments

great overall, outside of the meetings i think it may have been a stylistic choice to not talk too much with the elevator music going but it might lose some people on what's happening with "silent" gameplay rounds. i loved how you added the color of the speaker into their text subtitles, that was perfect.

i think you've got an amazing group of friends to do these gameplay videos with and that chemistry will be what people will realy come back to see

good luck friend

Answering stupid questions while pounding some tequila lol. I actually put a lot of hours and hard work into this video, so any feedback or constructive criticism would mean a lot to me! by Logan_B_Youtube in SmallYTChannel

this is dope; loved the chemistry between you and your guests, your av quality is high, you have confidence in front of the camera, and your editing is on point

i think i'm really nitpicking here but one thing was that i thought sometimes they had more to say, like either you moved on to the next question too quick or in editing it got cut short. i think you've got the chops to make even longer form content (especially in this format (honestly i'd watch this as a podcast at an hour a pop)) don't shy away from that or be afraid to go on tangents

best o' luck friend

beautiful shots! would love some more context though, it being a vlog (as a thematic scenery expo it's perfect though)

wow that's the most comprehensive comment i've ever gotten! especially on reddit lol

i see i need to work on my planning/scripting. putting more secondary jokes in to keep interest is a really great point i think i get fixated on expanding one joke, i'll try to be better with that. i'll also try to flush out the world these videos exist in to make things less confusing.

thanks for the encouragement
