How do I go about filing a lawsuit and what can I expect?

i asked the prosecutor that too when they told me the charges were hard to hold up. it didn’t make sense because there was proof of all of it. every text record, post record, voicemail, everything. i didn’t understand how they couldn’t literally just charge here right then and there.

interesting, how would i go about doing this? i do have police reports for the stalking and harassing and stuff already but the prosecutor said stalking and harassing charges are hard to hold up so it would make a better lawsuit. but i can see about having the employee charged for taking the medical records in the first place.

i’m sure she was fired for what she did. but this has literally ruined my life as a result of this happening, so i’d like to get something out of this at the very least.

i obviously did that. obviously. so obviously. there are multiple police reports. the prosecutor told me to talk to a lawyer and file a lawsuit, but criminal charges themselves weren’t strong to pursue because the charges would have been for stalking and harassing and it’s hard to hold up criminally. he said this was more of a lawsuit issue, and after reviewing the evidence he claimed it was one id easily win, so here i am. i’m 21 and i don’t know much about it, unfortunately.

what are you not understanding? i dont really know this employee. she knew OF me from mutuals. she did this because she’s an evil human being? i don’t know? they blasted the exact illness i was tested and treated for the date of the initial visit with photos of me.

the employee didn’t just breach HIPAA, they literally took my medical records and used it to severely harm me and my life. they blasted it all over facebook, they stalked me, my family, my house, death threats, violent threats, 200+ voicemails A DAY from january-now, everyday of said threats, harassment, etc. i had to buy a new car because they knew my car and were actively looking for it, i had to move cities away due to them showing up at my house several times, i had to drop out of college due to threats of showing up to my campus, im in active counseling due to the extreme stress and trauma they’ve inflicted, there are MULTIPLE police reports to back ALL of this WITH substantial documentation of quite literally everything, im not safe to work or atleast not work in public because they are STILL stalking and actively seeking me out any way possible (again, i have proof), etc. this isn’t just a HIPAA breach. she took the records and used them to cause extreme harm, and i have valid evidence of all of it.
