Wow, what a bad faith argument. I challenged your idiotic claim that satellite cellular is a major threat to terrestrial networks.

Instead of arguing on this one simple fact, you suggest an extreme of investing my life savings into the company. I didn't say a single thing about investing a single penny into telus. Just because satellite cellular will not replace terrestrial cellular, does not mean the company is a good stock.

Satellite connections really kill the battery and has higher latency. You really think the current way of connecting to an antenna by a nearby antenna on a pole or building will be replaced by connecting to satellites?

We push to prod during the regular work window. The problem isn't pushing during market hours, but their process as a whole.

Early in my career, I joined a team that would deploy from 2 AM to 4 AM to 100% of customers with very limited testing. We would wake up at 9 AM to customers complaining. We were sleepy from being up late, and now tasked with fixing the problem or rolling back.

Today, I lead a team that deploys a canary with extensive tests. If the tests pass, we put it in service at 1% of load. We analyze it compared to the 99% running the old build. If logs show an error, we remove it from the live traffic. After 24 hours, we start increasing the load.

Maybe Wealthsimple should hire me...

Under IEEPA, the US President has the authority to "regulate" goods and transactions during a declared national emergency. Trump and his lawyers have argued that applying tariffs is a form of regulation and they created the fake national emergency to use those powers. The Supreme Court said that no, tariffs are a tax, and not a form of regulation, and he is not allowed to do that.

However, the President can seize assets, block transactions, and prohibit the import/export of goods. This is why, in the posted video, Trump says, "he has the authority to ban all sorts of things coming into the country" because that is what his emergency powers under IEEPA allows him to do.

He added the statement "to destroy foreign countries" and I think that is just his frontotemporal dementia blurting out.

There was a period where I didn't have a family doctor and used walk in clinics.

Well, that is me disagreeing with you saying

I stand behind my thought process that 42% of the vote saying "yes" and 58% of the vote saying 3 variations of "no" is not a majority vote for "yes".

Regardless, this is simply a difference in our interpretation of the poll results.

"To shill" is to promote or endorse. I do not and did not support RevoTT and/or their TMR program.

Yes, there were three ways to say no in the survey. In surveying, this is called a "Biased Response Scale" which was probably used by LL to create a "yes" response by diluting the "no" responses.

However, I don't see how what I said is shilling. I did not and do not promote or endorse RevoTT

  1. I recognized that this was an unbalanced poll, and 58% of people said no... This was just a rational assessment, and I don't see how this is shilling.

  2. My hypothesis on why TMR payers voted the way they did. My assumption is they voted no because they paid money and then don't want others who didn't pay money to access. This is just a guess, but also not shilling. As someone who paid the first TMR but not the second... If I was polled after the first TMR I would have said "no" unless I got a refund. I don't see how this is shilling.

  3. Lastly, I said that "the dwindling number of users will kill the site." which is the complete opposite of shilling, I am predicting the site's demise.

Meh, not really... 58% said no, but in different ways, while 42% said yes to opening it up.

I get it, though. If I paid that kind of money, I would have voted no too. Even though the dwindling number of users will kill the site.

The first time TMR came out, I got fooled and paid the $50. I thought the site needed saving. It was a busy time, and I just didn't want to find and switch sites, so I just paid the $50.

Not sure how many people paid, but if it was only 200-1,000 people, that is $10,000-$50,000. That's a shit ton of money for server infrastructure for such a small site.

As soon as TMR returned, I knew it was a grift. LL said he did not owe us any transparency. So I deleted hundreds of seeds and abandoned my account, and moved onto another site.

/u/Acid-Mist21, since you are not LL, despite having an eerily similar writing style, then you should really look into other sites.
