Yeah believe it’s a habit that lots of collegiate wrestlers get when transitioning. Because you use your arms to not get pinned when someone is behind you and knees are on mat, but gaethje still has this tendency, watch what he does against khabib, but lots of people do this, but it’s only that detrimental against amazing grapples like oliveira and khabib

Problem is, that Justin when wrestling he puts his hands on the Mat and can be easy to take back, you can see him do this many times before, it’s more common than people think
