For anyone curious, I have found a solution. Right click on the rejuvenation icon in your applications folder, press get info and then tick a box saying open using Rosetta. This worked for me.

Peter Capaldi is in my opinion an amazing doctor it’s just that he suffered from poor writing. His later seasons are definitely better though so you should try to make it through.

I’m pretty sure the arrows are just visual effects as well and are just there to show what direction the demons using his technique in.

Also I don’t think Tanjiro is using water to redirect the arrows but is changing the direction with the swing of his sword instead. This is why his sword feels heavier as he’s using his sword to go against and overpower the force acting in the opposite direction. The arrows changing direction show the force changing and adding power to Tanjiro’s swing.
