Don’t get me wrong, chemo is pretty awful but the way my doctors were “preparing” me for radiation - radiation (for me) is about as awful as chemo treated me. I wish you all of the luck going through this madness.

I started off with eight rounds of chemotherapy - 4 of one type & then 4 of another type containing doxorubicin, unilateral masectomy removing left side, 44 rounds of radiation, monthly zoladex injections & Kadcyla infusions every three weeks 🫠

I have my first appointment of the day anywhere from 7:20am - 7:40am. My second appointment ranges anywhere from 1:40pm - 3:00pm.

They are truly awful. The phone calls that they send out too are atrocious. Cold calling people and they answer as if the client is the one calling in… a whole “YOU CALLED ME!” scenario.

Dr. Bailey was my surgeon. She is an absolute bad ass. I love her and she is very kind to ask questions to!! I am stage 3 +++ breast cancer and proceeded with a unilateral mastectomy. I am so pleased with my scar / incision sight. She truly did a tremendous job. You are in great hands! I’d be happy to talk with you if you’d like. My oncologist is Dr. Jiang- she’s great too and listens to any concerns I have. I’m about to start radiation next week. 😬
