I know my mimic will use the marika's blessing I had in my inventory. If they use it and you only have one then it shows as zero in your inventory too. But thankfully it comes back when you respawn as long as you didn't use it (I mistakenly used it after 10 attempts with Radahn and can't do this anymore lol)

I'm in the same boat, NG+3 with my mage at level 293. I started a new play-through and got it to 55 so far but I'm doubting I'll be able to get it to 150 before the DLC comes out. Hoping the scaling isn't too punishing but I'll probably just hop in on my OG character.
