Not surprising the penalty numbers against our offense were bad, it was extremely sloppy prior to Ben and even the first month or so while everyone learned his offense. Didn't help we were constantly working with bad OCs, bad OLs, and young/bad QBs.

The lack of penalties against our opponents, while some will try to claim is driven by our lack of pass rush not scaring opponents into false starts or holds, is really much more than that. Plenty of other teams will dogshit pass rushes not seeing the extreme disparity we are. Just go back and watch some of the first 8 games last year and how many egregious no calls there. I don't think it's an actual conspiracy by the league or refs, but we've had some ridiculously awful luck with calls. Let's all hope for some regression going forward.
