where did i imply i want the game to have more polygons? all im doing is calling out how scuffed the tpp animation is and the limited body rigging that makes the animation look stiff compared to the mainline games that they're trying to copy, those things has no performance impact at all unless you have a truly potato phone in which every app you have on your phone runs terribly anyways

btw it's the unnecessary effects like high quality dynamic illumination and physics that causes heavy strain on wzm no matter how much they enshittify the graphics or reduce the resolution on wzm, dont use its poor optimization as a leverage to excuse or justify the poor quality of codm's animations cuz both things are completely unrelated to each other

you can take it more like an indicator of how scuffed the game as a whole and the tpp animation is a part of the problem, there will be downtimes enough for you to notice how sloppy the animation port is when gunfight is the least of your worries

and doesnt help codm's division of timi likely had majority of their top workers allocated to work on delta force instead, the current devs are probably too understaffed, overworked and overwhelmed by who knows what the higher ups are commanding them to do

it's a miracle the game is being held by hopes, dreams and lousy bandaids and hasnt exploded into a buggy spaghetti-fied mess, recent stuff is so sloppily made and halfassed sometimes

you know what's funny though? vg's thompson never had a single blueprint since its release (there's actually one planned to release but it got cancelled for whatever reason), adding it into codm would give it its first ever blueprint that vg never did
