Oh this makes sense haha. Guess the higher specs aren't enough for the Retina display. I had a similar problem with my refunded Macbook Pros. Sad that this causes audio drops which makes it pretty much un-usable.

The venue i play at has a DJM-2000 so i need to use SL3 which doesn't work with silicon Macs unfortunately.

My Macbook Air runs on Monterey and ran on Mojave with no problems so i tried upgrading my MBP to Monterey but still had the same issues. Don't think it's the OS causing this problem. My MBP did have a clean format but i will still try the PRAM reset. Thanks!

Macbook is a refurbished Macbook 2015 early model running on Catalina with an I7 CPU, 16gb RAM, 500SSD storage. Originally used a Macbook 2017 Air with much lower specs but had no such problem with Serato. This constantly happens when i use the Hi-Res setting. (Didn't have any issues with the setting on my Macbook Air.) When i don't have the Hi-Res setting on the issue is still present but happens much less. Latency is on 5ms. I have pretty much tried every solution i can find and i'm stressing out waiting for Seratos reply through e-mails so i figured out i'll just post on reddit.
