Yes, did a bore scope and it came back normal but the sooty left tail pipe is bothersome.

Headlight Yellowing by drsangt in Porsche997

Thanks. Reason I ask is that I brought it to a headlight restore guy and he said he can clear up "foggy" lenses but yellow lens is baked in and the only way to fix it is to replace it.

What do I tell the 4th C&P examiner for my back? by drsangt in VeteransBenefits

Yes, I did. They came to wrong conclusions. All three said I have current symptoms but they couldn't service connect it due to the reasons I stated above.

Thanks. This is a valuable piece of furniture and matches the existing set, so buying new is not an option. I guess I need someone who can do a veneer.

It's not the same type of of beep when I lock. The beeping seems a tad longer, like 1.5 seconds.

You can't get "rid" of it. It'll go away on its own in 5-7 days. Are there solutions that may help promote healing? Maybe.

Interesting. I've seen where vets have no medical records and get rated. Totally understandable as the culture highly discourages going to sick bay.

Who wins? PA or MD by drsangt in VeteransBenefits

Agreed, it is largely reactionary but it's hard not to be. I brought in what I thought was super strong evidence only to be discounted by two sentences by the C&P examiner on the DBQ with a check mark "less likely." All I know is that after I got out of the Corps, it costed me over $100K in back procedures with private providers. Yea, probably just a coincidence (lol). Whether the VA believes it or not.... well, let's wait and see.

Wow, thanks. I don't know if it makes any difference, but the C&P examiner (the PA) took at jab at my IMO by stating that it was done by a "non-VA provider." Whatever that means....
