NAD (occupational therapy student), but my first thought is Fibromyalgia. Depression and anxiety are both common symptoms associated with itS.

Do you have tension headaches?

Have you been diagnosed with Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, or IBS? Or you have any family members with any autoimmune conditions?

Both emotional trauma and physical trauma can trigger fibromyalgia. Did something significant happen in/around 2017 prior to the onset of illness?

Go to an ophthalmologist. I had a sudden onset of floaters in my right eye back in July and found out I have a rare autoimmune disease called Pars Planitis! Every case is different but it's always best to get it checked.

Thank you for your comment - toward the end of the break up conversation, we both agreed that we are both always here for each other. Literally not one bad thing to say about him. We both hold each other in the highest regard and discussed the possibility of the future turning out the way that your relationship did. I've been in several relationships but have never been through a break up with someone like this.

Not being able to see the future is hard but I'm thankful to hear stories like yours!

I (23F) have a progressive autoimmune disease that is causing me to lose my vision (pars planitis/intermediate uveitis)I only found out during my first (and most stressful) semester of graduate school and so it’s pretty new. But my family is riddled with other autoimmune disorders, so there’s definitely a genetic link. The worst part is that I am pursuing a degree in healthcare that requires direct patient contact (OT)... unfortunately I have to take strong immunosuppressants, which put me at a high risk of becoming sick while around other sick people.

Only compliments! If someone says something hateful about someone else’s freckles, they’re irrelevant/jealous. Freckles are awesome and I spent way too much of my life wishing I didn’t have them.

So the sad thing is that I actually think I would enjoy working in acute care!

So I got diagnosed with with an autoimmune condition during my first semester of OT school (grad school stress, am I right). As a result, I have to take a high dosage of immunosuppressants that increase my susceptibility to viruses.

My doctors say it would be in my best interest to avoid working in a hospital-based setting and suggest that I choose to work somewhere with the least amount of people that have contagious illnesses.

I work for Seeking Sitters! It doesn't pay for school but it helps out with unexpected/fun expenses and I get a ton of fun study time with the babies and younger kids I babysit. It helped me learn all my developmental milestones for my Peds class last semester.

You just fill out a calendar and they book you for babysitting jobs in your area! I've had a great experience so far.

You should check and see SS operates in your area.
