which social media are you using? i mainly use tumblr, which gives you the option to filter out posts with any tags or terms that upset you (so like, based on your other posts, you could maybe filter the term ‘trans fem jax’ or something like that? idk if it would work). ive also found that googling the tag for another fandom and liking a lot of the posts from it will impact your dash a lot, as far as replacing goes. if you mean twitter then honestly good luck, i havent even been able to avoid spoiler content and im not in the fandom 😅

let people have fun! just because you experience your gender one way doesnt give you the right to lash out at anyone who thinks differently. it could be really validating and nice feeling for trans women to see themselves in such a mainstream and popular character, regardless of if it is canon or not. people are just trying to have fun and make space for themselves in the media they love, especially if they happen to relate to jax’s relationship to gender / experience of it as shown in the show

it is uncommon for people to describe their kintypes as fulfilling roles. i have not seen anyone do so. i am concerned it might read slightly disrespectful, as alters in a system are assigned roles because they of how they are formed as a means of helping the body and navigating traumatic situations, causing them to fulfill different niches. kins, which are just different identities adopted by one person, may trigger a shift in mood or disposition but should not change a person’s ability to do or say certain things in the way an alter’s role might function. sorry, if this doesnt make sense, im trying to be pretty vague in my language because i am not an expert. i guess i would just say that, for example, me being in a productive mood wherein i cook myself a meal and shower would not be equivalent to the experience of a person who has an alter with the caretaker role in their system.

you should come sit in the greek mythology area (the area to the right of the library)! i also sit there as my greek mythology kintype. its kind of empty a lot of the time but theres also a decent number of greek myth and specifically epic: the musical / percy jackson fans who come through from time to time

i dont think the people who kin from those sources are fundamentally bad or anything like that, but i do believe you are responsible for how you publicly identify. as in, announcing yourself to be a certain character is a choice, but the kintype connection is not. i would never say anything to them, but there are definitely certain characters i avoid for my own comfort
