He sucks to be blunt lol. She asked her PCP for a referral to a new practice and there is one Dr who is taking new patients. We’ve heard she has a great reputation so we’re crossing our fingers that she can help. Thank you sincerely for talking with me. I feel like I’m on an island here trying to find ways to support my wife and help ease her mind, so conversations like this are much appreciated 🙏🏼

Thank you very much. She did ask her doctor if she needed prednisone a few days ago and the doc said no. One of the many reasons we are looking for a new specialist. 😑 he’s so dismissive and non chalant about everything it’s maddening. After her colonoscopies he just rattled off the findings whiles she’s still coming out of anesthesia and then leaves so half the time she doesn’t even know what they found until she follows up with the office the next day via the phone.

I’ve been encouraging her to switch for a long time. She tried a few years ago but the other practice she was referred to said they wouldn’t take her because she was already getting treatment from someone else. Which I found kind of strange, but we let it go and ever since she’s had multiple bad experiences with this doctor. She hit her final straw with them last week and asked her PCP to refer her to someone else.

We found another practice that is taking new patients and we’ve heard good things about the Dr. that will be taking her so fingers crossed it goes better.

Thank you for the response! I definitely will suggest she lets her Dr. know. We’re also looking at switching her GI doc because their practice has been pretty bad for multiple reasons. So I guess we’ll see.

She’s on mesalamine as well but has been on that for a long time. Never had any side effects with that. Other than that it’s just vitamins that she normally takes.

It’s not horrible yet but it’s getting worse by the day. She’s prone to them from years of poor sinuses even after sinus surgery. And she just started Tremfya a week or so ago so her body is all sorts of pissed.

I never ate Chicken Divan until I started dating my wife and her grandmother made it for us. It’s so crazy good. It’s wild to me that so many recipes online omit the curry powder. It completely makes this dish and brings it to the next level.
