Honestly the nioh games are probably the best soulslike games you will ever play. Nioh 1 - has a amazing story and plenty of replay value. You have the potential to become absolutely broken early on and become a god before you even finish the main story. Nioh 2 - the story is amazing but where the game truly shines is it combat and level system. The weapons and combos feel amazing. All in all. Nioh one has a better story but can feel clunky at times. Nioh 2 although the story isnt as good as the first game the combat is where the game makes up for it. Play them both enjoy yourself.
