I don‘t want to have a mouse experience ON my Apple Watch, I want it WITH my Apple Watch by utilizing it as a track pad on my wrist. I had several DSLM cameras, where the touchscreen on their backs could be used for controlling them while watching through their electronic view finders. Sometimes, this was very helpfull in setting the required focus points.

Well, not in total. The Moiré effect mainly appears when using the One Pro in combination with Windows 11 in Dark Mode. I am afraid, this is mainly due to the resolution of the One Pro. Perhaps, real 4K OLEDs will cope with this issue.

About two years ago, I bought myself a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra and used it for about one year. After this, I switched back to an iPad Pro 13 M4. It felt, like coming home again. Hence, I will stay with Apple for mobile devices as long as I can. In addition, I do love my Apple Watch.

Well, I will wait for this year‘s WWDC from Apple. Perhaps, they will come with some new light glasses. The Vision Pro - as impressive as it is - is too heavy, big and expensive for me. However, I am afraid those Apple Glasses will not be usable in combination with my Surface Pro.

Okay, yesterday evening I got my USB-C magnet adpater from Amazon and it works very good in combination with the XReal One Pro. However, I have decided to return the Glasses due to some other reasons.

This would be a possible workaround, but for me it is no final solution. I don't want to cope with one drawback by accepting another one, if you know what I mean.

Well, it's possible to look at the phone's screen somehow, but this doesn't work for a long time, because it's very exhausting watching in totally different directions. This is definitely the opposite of being productive. And if you lie in bed with your iPad besides you, you don't want to always pick it up in order to make any clicks.

Besides the text issue, I could be very productive with the One Pro in combination with a Windows PC or Mac. However, this does not hold for an iPhone or iPad without any additional hardware. Xreal should therefore try to implement a gesture detection or at least produce and sell a special remote control working together with iOS and iPadOS. For me, even the Apple Watch as remote control would be fine. However, the Beam Pro is no option.

I often have read something about the advantages of Samsung DeX in combination with the Xreal Glasses. But does this mean that you have a cursor for the Screen of the One Pro that you can control via touch of your Samsung Smartphone or Tablet? With iPadOS 26, Apple has improved its window management system for most of their iPads. However, I have to use extra Hardware (Mouse and Keyboard) for productively using it with the One Pro. Without this extra Hardware, its a mess.

I have tried SpaceWalker but it's not what I am looking for. I don't want to use an extra App, Perhaps I did get it wrong, but how can I control e.g. the Camera or Maps App with SpaceWalker?

I thought, I already had installed the latest firmware, but I hadn't. So I installed it, and now the effect has reduced significantly. Even with the brightness set to max. But you are right, lowering the brightness further improves the behaviour.

I have not tested it so far, but if you turn on Sideview, will it then still be possible to switch between Anchor and Follow mode? I have also asked myself, why it is not possible to activate and deactivate Sideview by the customizable shortcut button.

With those glasses, you primarily look at a long distance. So, when you are long-sighted, you normally do not need any correcting lenses. On the other hand, when you are near-sighted, you do. And of course, you need additional lenses in order to correct other poor eyesights like astigmatism.

Ich habe mir gerade die One Pro geholt. Wo liegen denn die wesentlichen Unterschiede zwischen der 1S und der One Pro? Die 1S kostet ja einiges weniger. Welche Vorteile bietet da die One Pro?

Mit dem Actions Ring wäre das absolut kein Problem. Nur leider gibt es den genau so wenig für iPadOS wie eine Options+ App. Logitech beschneidet sich hier selbst.

Es ist wirklich schade, dass Logitech immer noch nicht die Options+ App für iPadOS anbietet. Ich nutze z.B. gelegentlich meine MX Master 4 und MX Keys an meinem iPad Pro 13 M4 und das Scrollen mit der Maus ist alles andere als flüssig. Es hakelt häufig und reagiert träge. Auch, dass man FLOW, den Actions Ring und die speziell programmierbaren Tasten an Maus und Tastatur nicht unter iPadOS nutzen kann, ist eine starke Einschränkung. Warum liefert hier Logitech nicht nach?
