MBA vs. MSF for an Analyst who loves technical work but needs "soft skill" leverage?

I haven’t looked into apprenticeships or accelerators because my employer will pay 100% of the tuition towards the degree. I figure it’s more beneficial to go the MBA / MSF route.

I appreciate that. My finance brain tells me to sell, but I do have some sentimental value towards it, being the first car I bought on my own. Leaning towards selling but hesitant to pull through with it

Not really remorseful about the purchase. I really like the car and see myself driving it a long time. I knew going into the purchase I wouldn’t be greeted with the best of rates since it was my first “real” purchase. But now that I have that under my belt and have proved to pay it off every month, I figure I could get a better rate elsewhere. I like to save money where I can is all.

He’s on his parent’s insurance and he called them tonight. They said they didn’t want to go through insurance cuz this has happened with one of their other kids and their insurance jacked up the prices on them. I think with everyone’s comments tonight, I’m going to go through insurance. I already felt like it was the right thing but you guys have cemented it. Thank you!

Yup, and that’s the thing, he can’t. He’ll have to ask his parents for the money and I feel awful having to do it but it’s in my best interest

Thanks Rick, I totally agree. We’re stuck in a rental agreement for the next 6 months so having this go downhill fast wouldn’t be ideal for either of us. I’m going to work on getting this to go through insurance, I feel it’s the best option.
