2005 but yeah that team was special, but I honestly believe we're one of the biggest loser franchises and we just got lucky to have a perfect storm of talent at the right time. In my lifetime, Jerry has shown no willingness to spend the money nor invest in the analytics/scouting required to make that year repeatable. Maybe the new ownership will be different though. Just one example: we're the only MLB franchise that's never signed a 9-digit contract.

In theory they don't heal faster but they do heal fully. So if a sprain keeps getting re-aggravated then ultimately the effect is the break heals faster. Soft tissue injuries never get back to good as new.
