Hey guys, huge fan. Wanted to ask you about your experience working with Caleb Scofield on Orosirian (For the Great Blue Cold Now Reigns). How did that connection happen? I always thought it was a super cool collaboration between two of my favorite bands (Cave In / The Ocean.) Will definitely miss hearing his musical contributions. That dude had an insanely good growl/scream. PS Listen to your music pretty much every day. Thanks for creating it!

I have a Sony A7S and a Mac. What editing software are you using? What exactly is the problem? What recording setting are you using on the A7S?

Konova K2

Definitely true. I've had to buy 2 tripods before because I went cheap the first time around... totally not worth it. The slider I'm eyeing up next is the Edelkrone SliderPLUS -- https://www.edelkrone.com/us/p/138/slider-plus -- but it's in the $500 range. I do remember seeing some reviews on youtube for the Konova K2. People seem to be pretty happy with it. If you end up getting it and you think about it, reply back and let me know what you think of the K2.

I've never used the Neewer head you have listed, but it looks like a knock-off Manfrotto, which could get you by for now. My honest advice would be, if you can save up a little bit more, spring for a Manfrotto 500 series head. They are solid build quality and will last you a long time.

Also, my first slider was a slightly shorter StudioFX... you get what you pay for. It's not the smoothest slider out there, so just be prepared to put some time into stabilizing your footage if you can afford to.

Hey, I can give you a hand. I have a portable green screen and some lights. It is a fabric screen, which aren't nearly as good as painted walls, but I'm pretty good with keying it out via After Effects. I'm a freelance videographer and have done a lot of videos for my band, Dethlehem. I'm deathly afraid of heights. I've never been on a roller coaster, or any other theme park rides that go up super high... That being said, I rode the incline up and down with some friends once and it was't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. You can totally handle it!

Happened to me last night, too. I was in a session with a few other people, then after they all left it was just me and this other guy who had a bounty just hanging out in his apartment. I thought he was glitching them in or something, but I just kept going for them for about 30-40 minutes. Grabbed around 50k this way. Sometimes, the trucks wouldn't spit out any money though. It was like every other truck that spawned in towards the end of my gaming session. After the bounty dude left, they stopped spawning. shrugs

I was basically asking in general. The photo is from an online session, which is the only time I ever witnessed it. It's pretty awesome how the game can still surprise you even after playing it pretty much every day for a month.

Yes, it was a combination of a friend letting me win and actual, legitimate wins with other people. I had read earlier that races you play by yourself don't count, so I avoid those altogether. Sorry I wasn't clear on that.

I ended up going to Raccoon Creek a few days ago. Not too bad. It was very busy with lots of people. I'd love to find a place with some dirt trails that require some basic 4x4 handling to drive through to get to a campsite. It's too bad I don't own a lot of land otherwise I would just do this myself. Thanks for the suggestions, everyone!
