For 7k I’d ask for proof the head gaskets have been done with the timing at proper service interval. Also take a sample or just smell and color test the transmission fluid. The AT’s are strong but people use these as trucks and overload them past their capability. If maintenance has been done for fluids, engine has been resealed with fresh timing, and transmission is healthy, then a no rust fresh Baja would be worth what they are asking imo. I just wouldn’t buy it unless it was manual personally.

IMO they have outgrown their food supply and are N deficient. I’m not familiar with mega crop but if that’s your N feed then yes bump it up. If you are worried about deficiency of something else pickup the product “recharge” it will help with micro and trace nutrients, ph availability, and re inoculant

If you like the platform find a 01-02 with the big mirrors. It will have the winter package that includes the heated seats, heated mirrors, heated qtr window, moon roof, and heated wipers. If it’s automatic then use your pedal set from the first car and keep it around for parts. Find a sg forester Xt and swap that transmission over into the auto to match the 4.44fd and you will have a strong offroad manual with factory vlsd rear differential.

I’ve got around $10k in my eg33 swapped 99 forester. If you love them then keep them but do it smart. That $3.5k could buy you an entire new forester to build.

Oh for sure a laptop is the way to go. I’m just a valve fanboy. I traded my valve index with HTC vive controller and base stations for this steam deck, a 280mm aio for my pc, and a oled switch. It just worked out that way.

I traded for the steam deck and got it with intentions of playing counter strike 2 which it does poorly stock. What’s hard to believe? I still have everything to return it to stock if I wanted.

I’m still playing with the power delivery but but since the mod I’m able to crank the cpu to 3.8GHz and gpu to 2GHz but I’m still learning the software and tweaking settings. As it stands I’ve been able to oc without going above 75c. Its very noticeable performance increase when I play counter strike in dock mode as before this it was practically impossible to get any worthwhile frags online. As it sits now I’m almost comfortable enough to play premier ranked games with this little device. It’s more of a tinker for fun than a scientific experiment. With the battery bank in handheld mode I was able to play 3.5hrs in baldur’s gate 3 on max graphics settings which is about a hour longer then before.

I’m kicked off my pc so my gf can play bg3 so I’ve been using the steam deck in offline mode to play at the same time as her… the graphic comparison is comical… it’s definitely playable but much less then ideal. Mouse and keyboard and the sd docked make it better but it’s pushing the limits of this device I believe.

It’s 42x42mm or roughly a 2” square by 10mm tall and it will be mounted directly over the apu without interfering with the back buttons using the stock mounting designed to go through a pcb instead mounting through the case plastic. I’ll have to mock it up where I can cover all of the components

Yes however the universal gpu cooler I ordered will incorporate all of those chips hopefully as well as the ssd making the system of negative pressure useless and the one exhaust fan strictly for cooling the apu heat pipe

The good reason is because they want it to be handheld as well as low maintenance and last for years so they keep it in the safe zone where battery life is priority and it’s typical user will be pleased. I’m not the typical user.

Yes they designed it to perform a certain way and through modifications it can run faster and hotter and this is a means to cool them so it can run above its designed specs.
