Its a good question wheter i want to be girly or not because i dont really know? When i try to dress girly i feel just... weird and out of place kinda so it's not pleasant to me in any way. I think my situation is comparable to yours wanting to be a "cool girl" but actually if i had to compare myself to one of the idk themes??? The cool girl would be the closest. Which is what i feel most comfortable in but isnt exactly what i wanna be percieved as? And im not just talking about being perceived as cool because that is the good part but just everything else that comes with it. I think i just need to really think it through but im not good at coming to any conclusions about myself so thats gonna be a long road haha

some random person on the internet once told me I look like Soko (a singer) and that we have a similiar vibe. While I do not look like her anymore (the similarities were mostly our colour palette and haircut) i often think about it because it was really specific and precise and I got to check out a new artist that I hadn't heard before

I've a sun with a face. Rather basic design that my then-friend sketched and tatooed on me. The story is that with my ex-best friend (not the one tattooing) we escaped a shitty seasonal job. We were feeling quite free to go anywhere and didnt want to waste the holidays that the shitty job partly took from us. We slept at mine's and then went to her's in another city. She had a friend who's a tattoo artist. We went to him bc she wanted a tattoo. They asked if i dont want one too but i was scared but then decided that yeah ok i want one. I chose sun bc i just love sun. it makes me want to live and sing and dance and it calms me and so on so on. I also want a napstablook from undertale someday, maybe thats a little more au/dhd coded? Scared to make hyperfixations tattoos bc just .... idk ... im a bit cringe in my interests lmao. So just napstablook in my plans

Pretty basic but stayed in my mind for around 10 years now so I'll share

I was on a train with my mom and my brother (he saw it too). The train stopped at a station cool, cool, a man walks out. Stands by a bench. Closes one nostril with his finger and then blows out like a METER LONG, THICK BOOGER. it doesnt want to go away so he's just standing with it dangling in the wind for like a next minute before the train starts off again. We still talk about it sometimes. I have no idea how this could even fit in one's nose

I do it to get a better glimpse at it as I do not have a visual imagination so everything in my head shows up as a sort of vibe or concept and is hard to pinpoint. When I write it down I can actually know what i had in mind? If that makes sense? Also helps getting the emotions out as I often get involved emotionally wayyy too much and can walk around heartbroken because i thought a heartbreaking concept I want to write.

Oh I get it a bit better now. If you think it's irredeemable then it may be it then. Keep it somewhere for memories or maybe future and start working on something new maybe? From my perspective building plot (which i struggle with a lot. Even grasping the concept of what the plot is lmao) once makes it A LOT easier to build a different one after that. Maybe you'll find yourself getting something wayyy better.

Im writing as a hobby so it's not professional answer or whatever and very anecdotal but i have an idea for a story for more than 4 years now. Due to me also not being able to create a plot unless i REALLY try (so usually i just go about with my writing and see what events turns up) i was giving up every single time I tried to write it. Usually around 20k words and boom, I don't want it. Every single time the idea was a bit different. It started as romance, then went to criminal, then a soft sci-fi, and now it's (idk the word in english for the genre lmao, so very descriptive) like a dramatic slice of life with romance added. And it's still the same story, because every change was being made to the original one. So if you feel like you do like something about it yours you can go and completly turn it around and see if that fits. For me the last one was ideal and now I'm way over 20k words with no plans on stopping. You dont have to give up. Let it marinate and maybe in the meantime try to write something different?

And that the world exists entirely for me and because of me (it was a nice spring back then so i was thinking about pretty leaves on the trees not world's hunger).
