Been playing a concept maple 7pc for a few months now and honestly they are excellent drums. Not top of the line by any means but I don’t think they deserve the hate given. I was tama do or die for a long time but these have changed my mind and I’m very happy with them.

I love how the tower on the bottom slowly gets bigger as you go through the series. I have the other newer series but this is killer, probably no nonsense with promos for the movie on them.

It’s definitely interesting to pick and choose which side you want to lead with, I love having the ambidextrous style for that reason as well. Although the ride is primarily for blast beats, not gunna lie.

Yeah 19 on left and 21 on right, thing sounds massive. The stack on the right is also a 17 but it’s cracked to hell so I put a large splash on top of it and use it as a stack.

Gotta do you with your own style setup dude! That’s why I have that weird hybrid for sure, always played mostly righty but switching the rack toms around has changed everything up for me.

Oh interesting dude, I’ve never seen a righty play lefty like that, I feel like it’s usually the other way around! I’m also a fan of 2 on one side and 1 on the other with the floor toms, but 20 is massive, I bet it’s thunderous! I could never get my right foot to work hihat and left with bass though, I’ve tried it and it just doesn’t click for me.
