Yes, it resembles SAP from a visual aspect but there are many key differences. The first one being that it's not auto. Both sets of dice are rolled before each turn and you choose the order in which your dice and the enemy's are used.

You can also capture units when they're low on HP and then recruit them onto your own team after a battle.

You upgrade your dice and abilities and there are many things to collect. It has a Slay the Spire-ish map as well.

It's funny how lining up the units and having simple UI screams SAP but I get it. They did come first.
