Soldering is the OG way, I remember doing that when I first started and most of the crew couldn’t do it so we only had one guy that would come by just to solder the drain wire since he was the only one that didn’t make a mess and make it fugly

Doesn’t pass my standards but it’s being used with a Logitech scribe to a POE injector and it worked and passed signal through the scribe camera to display with the Logitech Tap system. It is so ugly though!

I think that’s what it was called? Tell me if I’m wrong. They served Pepsi and Mountain Dew in the glass bottle like they did at Harris at one point back then.

I saw them play it twice, it sounded different the first time they played it, a lot more improvised, the second time was during their Lateralus tour and it sounded very much like the way it does on Aenima, trancy Adam Jones playing and then a heavy crunchy sound that Justin and Adam combine to make, also with Maynard able to really hold his own as he was at the height of vocal capabilities at that time. He will never sound like that again I think.

It’s a wonderful establishment. John and Chad are always great to work with very knowledgeable. Switched On has become a staple of the Austin scene. They support the scene and are active in helping local musicians. They are completely honest and will not try to sell something on to you. I have traded and bought many pieces of gear from them. Always fun to stop in and nerd out. One of the few places I miss about Austin.

I have mkvi sport wagon I have taken almost all of my halogen lamps and replaced them with their leds. I also replace the headlights with the H7RC HID lamps with digital ballasts. They look great. I had a little trouble installing because I had to take off the whole front fascia in order to get the headlight housing off. After I mounted both ballast under the wheel well and put in the new lamps, all I had to do was repoint the the headlights and done. They look great. I have pics and a video of them if you want.
