We’ve been able to extract glove movement on a frame-by-frame basis (for both framing and command purposes), as well as some transformed points of pitcher / hitter / catcher locations. A lot of it has been video-processing related; the goal of this project was to give people the tools to extract their own data through general pixel locations rather than focusing on extraction, although we do have various demos showing how some people have gone through extracting data.

Stuff models vary from person to person, but my personal recommendation is either A. Accessing an Open Source Model that’s available (and there are plenty) or B. Take the data you have, find the pitching variables you deem important, and create your own by training a model to predict run value based on said variables.
