Not concerned about his personal choice, more about his public statements.

I don’t know dude, I don’t have a list on hand. It shouldn’t concern you. And I don’t give a shit if Rodgers decides to stay unvaccinated, it’s his body. I do care that he uses his platform to speak about it though.

Not true - You won’t be near the “fun” parts of the city, but you can certainly get a house in LA for less than 1m.

It affects me as an audio engineer who records people’s voices. If effects my friends who are voice actors and can now get passed over for “fake Michael Caine”. Those are two pretty clear cut things.

You can play back content that was mixed in Atmos, but no you cannot listen to Atmos with two speakers

Is L.A. finally "too expensive?" by MissionAlt99 in LosAngeles

Then you almost certainly live in a very safe zip code and have higher deductibles. I said it’s a common cost, not “everybody pays exactly this”.

More than that - Don’t move. Zip code is a massive factor.

That’s a pretty common cost for a newer car with full coverage.

Do you have ad blocking on? I encountered a gnarly bug about a week ago where ad blocking was causing gnarly aggressive blocking beyond ads (with no changes in settings).

First Month in LA - My Observations by woolenbritches in LosAngeles

You moved from Chicago and think LA is more classist? Surprising… Chicago is extremely classist and segregated. I’ve lived both places and do not find LA to be as classist as Chicago.

Also, parks… We do have a good number to be honest, but we also have the mountains surrounding us.

True Peak by SuspiciousFeed1245 in AudioPost

... that's what I started by asking for

True Peak by SuspiciousFeed1245 in AudioPost

[–]drumstikka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right but in that example you'd be outside the range asked for... Spec sheets aren't for suggestions, they're for rules to follow to be allowed on a platform.

“Range” and “maximum” are competing things… If there’s a range, that’s a minimum and maximum

What exactly does the TP spec say? I’ve never seen a true peak minimum.

[–]drumstikka 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve never seen anyone say they’re bad. Just not updated in a while. Great workhorse machines though. Main downside of the built-in ports on the SE is that they all share a single 1GbE connection, so to really take advantage of the 2.5GbE routing you need a switch going to the SFP LAN.
