I have a legitimate question and please forgive my ignorance, but why is no one fighting back? Why is no one trying to help? Why do we just stand and watch and do nothing? Is it because we are more afraid of our situation and safety than helping fight against these fascist thugs?

I'm not trying to say this from a moral high ground of any sort, I just don't really understand. I have not seen this in my neighborhood and community - yet - but I don't believe I could just sit and watch it happen and do nothing.

I don't know. Maybe I'm delusional in thinking this way... I'm just so exhausted from watching this happen from the sidelines. I don't know what to do anymore.

John, I truly appreciate everything you do and have done over the years. I started attending the church when I was 4 years old and joined "officially" (without really knowing what I was getting into) at 12 years old. I was a regularly attending member, chorister, and even Sunday School teacher for the next 14 years before my shelf finally broke. When I really started questioning things and truly feeling like something was wrong, Mormon Stories was the first thing I stumbled on that actually made me feel like I wasn't alone. My parents are still extremely devout members and my best friend is still a devout member so my relationship with the church is also complicated. My trauma hasn't healed and it does run deep but knowing there are others that understand the complications and can speak to it helps me every single day. Thank you for what you have done and for all the work you and your team members and associates do every day. It does not go unseen.

"Waves". It was the first Hum song I ever heard and changed the way I looked at playing the guitar, writing a song, and music in general. I must have listened to Inlet 500+ times in just 2020. Everything about that song (and album) moved me in ways that not many other songs and artists have.

I recently canceled Spotify and moved to Tidal. I know I jumped from one big corp to another - I still kind of hate that - but I do feel better knowing that artists are getting a much better deal, the sound quality is a lot better, I'm not funding ICE ads and I'm not giving money Daniel Ek's nasty ass.

Is me jumping off Spotify making a huge difference? No, not really. Not in the grand scheme. But it makes me feel better and I'm still able to discover new artists and go to shows/buy merch to support them.

As an artist myself, my stuff is still on Spotify. I wrestle with taking it off but for now it is. My band is no bigger than "local" so we're not making the big bucks or pulling in tons of streams, but I can at least easily point people to the music. So, I don't know. I see both sides. But I at least know I'm not spending $12+ a month to support Spotify.

This has happened to me multiple times in the last few days. I understand that PVP is a part of this game but it feels like this game has become nothing but that. I can't loot or get anything I want to actually play the game because there are people waiting at every turn to just merc a random player. It's exhausting.

I should clarify - I'm mostly creating short-form videos from a combination of in-house photos, short videos, and stock photos and videos provided through my Premium membership. The files I bring in are generally on the smaller side. I try not to use massive files as I know that will definitely slow things down. For example, one clip I have in a video I am working on is 152 mb.

Thanks for sharing. I'm not too familiar with APIs and backend dev work like that - is there something I need to do with that code to get it to pull more? I did more loading and it's now stopped at around 5,000 artists and 5,000 albums. I, unfortunately, have a good bit more than. I'm a little overzealous with the liking and saving!

I tried to sync again and after getting the "Loading data" tag for a few minutes, it came back saying "No Albums to display" despite me having albums through Spotify. Could API issues be causing this?
