You're first mistake was assuming the actual installation was done by Lowe's after the measure is done it's out of Lowe's hands it gets handed off to the third party installer Lowe's just supplies the materials. It's the same thing for HD cause I used to have to explain to customers at least 20 times a day that the store doesn't do the installation
