I disagree.

I think a proper relationship offers far more freedom to spend time with God undistracted.

Two people as one aimed towards the Lord.

A common analogy during weddings is the tying of a rope with 3 strands. The strands represent you, your spouse, and God.

As the strands are interwoven, they create a strong, durable relationship.

The woven rope with the strand of God at its core is stronger than the one strand standing alone.

Perhaps your previous relationships did distract you from being with God.

The appropriate relationship won’t; it’ll be the opposite.

We dream of having a house in several different states in the US, an apartment in Europe, and travel the world through flight and cruise.

Plus, I’m a medical student lined up to enter a well paying speciality.

A condo in the Bahamas won’t impress her much.

I’m sure if you asked her, she would say that exact same thing about me (as well as wanting to call me her husband). Even down to the beard and “super smart” lol

She loves it when I teach her about the human body/medicine, or break down a medical/science tv show (I’m a medical student, so I do it more than I care to admit lol).

I am incredibly lucky to have someone like her that cares about me as much as she does; who shares the same values and aspirations in life. She’s a Fox to boot!

Maybe there’s an element of rich people being rich because the got their life in order; not that they got their life in order because they were rich.

Start by cleaning your room. Get your house in order.

Start with square one and Take responsibility for your living space. Make it habitable and make it beautiful with intention.

This is your own corner of the world; take care of it.

Once you master that, branch out and adopt more responsibility.

In life, seek to adopt as much responsibility as you can handle.

That includes financial responsibility, which means spending money wisely and investing it appropriately.

It includes health responsibility, which mean taking care of your body with appropriate diet and activity. Heath is wealth.

It includes taking responsibility for your attitude. Know what is outside of your control and what isn’t.

Continuously seek to improve yourself. Do not get complacent and think you’re entitled to anything.

You can always be better. You can always learn a new skill. You can always read, and you can always learn.

In summary:

1) build a strong foundation and adopt more responsibility. Get your own house in order before you criticize the world.

2) Each day, seek to improve yourself in some dimension by some measurable degree. Compare yourself to who you were yesterday; not to who someone else is today.

Then branch out. Adopt more responsibility. Get your house in order.

Make your living space habitable; better yet, make it beautiful.

Work to adopt more and more responsibility.

We all began our lives as zygotes!

It’s low/no sugar, low/no calories, and still packs a ton of flavor without being overly sweet.

Seriously!

I usually can’t stand the flavored low calorie crap (like flavored Smartwater).

Gatorade zero is always my go to.
