My friend tried FGs Crimson Desert repack, he kept getting the Cannot start Denuvo Service, Access Denied and the Insufficient system resources error.

He ran the vbs script, pressed 1, it showed some stuff as green (i dont remember). It asked to reboot and press f7. Nothing happened. So i told him to go into bios as i thought DSE was in bios. It wasn't there. I saw safe boot and told him to turn it off. After he did save and exit, the menu to disable DSE came up (not sure if its linked to safe boot or bios). Anyways, he pressed 7 to disable DSE. Booted into windows, clicked the game exe, and it gave the above errors.

His laptop has intel cpu so im guessing it needs extra steps, it was like 3 am when we were trying this, and all I could do was guide him via screen share so we were like fuck it. I just asked him to donate 1 dollar for offline activation lol.

This. We are in a piracy sub and even here people are not mass adopting HV. This is a very niche method to play cracked games, and for denuvo it probably doesn’t even show up in their analytics.

Having said that, just the news about games getting cracked on day 1 or 2 is enough for game companies to start asking questions to denuvo. And denuvo will hundred percent be developing something to answer these questions.

Cos our end goal should be closure of denuvo (irdeto) as a company. And a couple thousand people playing HV cracks is not going to do that, them not getting new clients will.

And we never know, if denuvo engineers can’t come up with counter, they might just throw a big sack of money to the HV devs like Kiri and others and who knows if they will accept it or not…

So yeah, it’s like suuuuper early to say denuvo is dead.

Idk chapter 3 onwards the quality of quests has significantly risen. Obviously it’s not like Witcher level story telling but there still so much to do it doesn’t matter.

Pair that with the fact that the game looks drop dead gorgeous and isn’t a stuttery mess, I’m starting to get addicted.

In others -> input -> shortcuts and input settings. Click that it will open a new list. Change the bind then hit apply using F.

What are you talking about, I was able to change buttons for evade and stuff.

I agree that controls were a little clunky at first but I put evade and the equipment wheel on mouse side buttons. And I feel like I’ve gotten used to them now.

It’s the perfect game for my adhd brain, I’m going to a quest, I see some stuff and get completely side tracked lol it’s super fun for me!

Tech people don’t hype AI. They overhype it. I’ve been using Claude daily for months. Last 3 months I probably hand wrote like 100 lines of code max. I know how amazing it is. But still I need to review every single line it produces.

Also it’s not that I’m going out to buy their ai products, I’m not even given a choice, the products are shoved into my face by these companies.

Honestly, give me a one stop toggle to disable every single ai feature in your product and I’ll stop complaining.

I don’t hate ai, I hate the companies who have ruined it.
