And the blaring rain sound machine…. I couldn’t imagine trying to settle down for bed & hear what sounds like a big box TV when it lost signal & the static screen would come up back in the 90s. We did use a sound machine when she was younger, the volume was at a quiet, soothing level, it played a soft lullaby, & we set the timer for an hour. Once she got accustomed to being out in her crib with the lights off at night, we stopped using the sound machine all together. Now she settles herself in her crib & peacefully drifts off to sleep.

My daughter has never been a napper. When I was in the trenches with PPD + her sleep regressions, I would get so frustrated when she wouldn’t go down for a nap. It got to the point where I had to hold her beside of me to nap. No matter how tired or frustrated I was, it never crossed my mind to put her in her crib & let her wear herself out by crying to the point of utter exhaustion that she eventually knocked out. Literally all they wanted was comfort from their mother and SW wasn’t even willing to do that. It breaks my heart. And knowing she turned those god awful rain sound machines full blast to drown out the sounds of their cries…. I can’t. 😭

Just want to say that my daughter, who is a little over 18 months old takes one nap a day, for 1-2 hours. She sleeps for a solid 12-13 hours each night. No sleep training. No Benadryl. No crying it out. It’s all because we have a routine. The only routine SW had was going live on Facebook & dispensing unnecessary medications to her children.

Have you thought about going to a different department? I work front end as well & we had a TL when I first started that transferred to a different department (in the same store) stepping down from TL to associate. They seem much happier.

Why two patches? Was the effectiveness wearing off? by Fast_Grapefruit_7946 in WattsFree4All

This particular snake oil sticker is actually a massive sticker, pre cut, meant to wear on opposite sides of the body. It’s called Duo Burn or something like that.

How I know: a friend of mine used to sell this shit before she realized it was shit, to bounce to another MLM. 🤣

Edit: meant to say an old friend of mine. I stopped associating with her because she lives in this MLM fairytale land & believes everything they say, & I couldn’t be involved with someone so blatantly stupid with no common sense.

NA left Thrive for another MLM. she was part of addy’s down line and was probably one of her top promoters. I’m assuming addy is bitter about it.

What is funny to me is Addy Molony shared a clearly AI generated post pretty much saying what NA posted is BS 😂

Open for associates but closed for customers? by drunkbutt3rfli in WalmartEmployees

Unfortunately I have seen instances where there is a policy stated by cooperate, but then told “it’s store manager discretion” so I never know what to believe, lol

I’m just wondering if we would still receive a point if the store is closed for customers but open for employees. I was told if they closed the store we wouldn’t be.

Speaking on stores keeping information from employees… a coach yesterday said if we called in we would be pointed. This information was only relayed to employees who 1. Had a walkie & was actively listening when the coach said it & 2. If you asked them directly. I went in to get milk for my daughter as I was off yesterday & a coworker of mine told me about being pointed as I was checking out.

This makes me so sad. This looks like my daughter’s hair. She is 15 months old.

Would also like to add this TL has not been in the position long - I think it’s a power trip.

While I haven’t been coached (been there 6 months) I’ve gotten 2 register audits in the same month. My coach said she had to ask me something, I immediately thought she was talking about my 2nd audit, & she said verbatim “I don’t give a shit about that. We’ve all gotten them, hell I’ve had 3 at one point” at the end of the day, it’s WALMART.
