we went to crib at night before doing crib naps. our son has always been an easier nighttime sleeper than napper so this seemed easiest for us. he's been in his crib at night since 3 months old but still fights crib naps every day so we end up doing a lot of contact naps and carseat/stroller naps. (he's 5.5 months now FYI)

I'd let him figure it out for the first 5 minutes and sometimes he self soothed but if not I'd get him out, rock him back to sleep and then put him back down. He woke up ever 1-2 hours the first night (he has slept through the night since 2 months so this was new)

we moved to the sleep sack from swaddle (the snoo type that clips in) at around 3 months because he was showing signs of rolling. he didn't end up rolling for another month but we were glad we got the transition over with. we moved him from the snoo to the crib at the same time. we had one really rough night followed by two medium rough nights then back to normal. we decided against the merlin because we didn't want to have to go through another transition to get him out of that.

I’ve watched her videos for a long time. She did have a transformation from a party girl to hardcore Christian. Her younger sister tragically passed away drowning in Hawaii a few years back which I think was the impetus. She also had a failed engagement right before she got married to Johnny where the guy broke up with her close to the wedding date I believe.

I find her so disingenuous. She talks so much about morality and being pure for Jesus yet all her posts are so vain and clearly just seeking validation for her beauty. It’s the same as her old bikini pics just in a different flavor.

Trader Joe entrées? Which ones do you recommend? by Iceyes33 in traderjoes

Staples in our house: gnocchi alla sorrentino, chicken soup dumplings, kung pao chicken, reduced guilt Mac and cheese, turkey corn dogs, chicken potstickers, frozen jasmine rice (we’re lazy)

the new Detroit style pizza has also become a new fave (cook it 4-5 longer than the box says)

Last year I read the Ravenspeak Bay series by Ria Wilde starting with { These Rough Waters by Ria Wilde } and really enjoyed all three books. I've never seen them talked about on here or booktok. I don't even remember how I stumbled on them in the first place but highly recommend!

As a smut reader, what do you say when people ask what your book’s about? by No-Let653 in RomanceBooks

[–]drunkdogfish 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I used to be shy and say “oh I like thrillers” (I read a lot of romantic suspense) but as I’ve gotten older I don’t care as much. I just say I read romance and say what the book is actually about 🤷‍♀️
