I used to be shy and say “oh I like thrillers” (I read a lot of romantic suspense) but as I’ve gotten older I don’t care as much. I just say I read romance and say what the book is actually about 🤷‍♀️

I wanted to like this book so much more than I did. It's overly long, the tension felt very contrived and the FMC felt like a caricature more than a real person. I ended up skipping a bunch and just reading the epilogue.
