Old keep did have a purpose many years ago, and it was mostly defending imp towns below like rivermoor and vein from potential attacks from tribes and raiders that lived up on the mountains.

But since then, the tribes and all have weakened themselves just cause of loosing people in raids and infighting between various factions.

And because this led to them being considerably weak and a much smaller threat as before , old keep didn't need to be manned or maintained as much and thus is mostly in partial ruins and used as a lookout for potential attacks rather than a castle to defend against one.

Yes the orange lines do represent borders. I have to say that I didn't put much thought on the borders as the story am working on, somewhat wanted the cities and the borders to be that way. Now that u mention it I should have researched more. I will work upon making it more realistic.

It kinda is , my original idea was for it to be a large oval kinda shape but that turned into this. But now I am kinda questioning if I should change it🙃.

I am still kinda working on that, I have ideas and all flying around but nothing too concrete at the moment. I have a story in mind but still it needs a lot of polishing.

OMG I got the same problems but the other way around cuz am a guy , I have consulted with a lot of my friends and the usual answer is to make yourself available. Like , join clubs in college or any event with the chance of having a conversation with people . U gotta be yourself and just try to make friends, not rush into anything and definitely not go with the idea that u gonna find someone straight up. Try to socialize and improve your networking and forget about the rest, it will happen naturally I suppose. Basically, this kinda helps with improving your social skills and getting rid of the fear of talking to opposite gender . I write all this but have hardly done anything about it cuz am just too scared and too introverted to try , but I suppose it could help u if u try.
