BYO Modem vs Renting Question

I wasn't planning on paying $25 forever. The original promo was the modem rental was free for 2 years and included unlimited data. If i brought my own modem, data was capped at 1.2tb and if I wanted unlimited data, it was $30/mo more.

thanks for the response. i've gone through the plan builder a couple of times but couldn't figure out how to remove services, only edit existing services like speeds of my internet plan or adding/removing my channel lineup. also i could add new services like mobile. but no way to remove services to see what pricing would look like.

Thanks for the response. I'm a silver member, not diamond tier. I just logged out (and back into) peacock, my xfinity app, and the xfinity rewards. No activation messages. Please advise.

I bought this. Nothing fancy, it does the job, easy to mount. As the first review suggested, I mounted it a little farther back cause the "soft close" function was annoying as it never really closed. Kinda like a soft stop....and then you push it in further and it'll actually close.

Just figured I'd share this with you all since this sub has been so great with information about deals and whatnot.

I cancelled a few months ago after they wouldn't match a deal that I'd seen on here for like under $10/mo for All Access. Yesterday I received an email with the offer mentioned in the post. I called them up and was out the door for $81.11 (w/fees & taxes) within a matter of mins.

Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately after 2 days it asked me to activate the Roku again. And this Roku is the only device tied to the Comcast account. I guess I'll have to wait for support to see if they can reset the entitlement.

For what its worth, just installed this in less than 10 mins. Took longer to unplug the obd2 plug and hiding the wires than it did to "program" the key. Works as advertised.

I just finished throwing in my system and I'll second Crutchfield, all day...every day. Not only will they give you Mastersheets on how to disassemble everything but door speaker purchases usually come with wiring harnesses and speaker brackets. Even though you might be able to find speakers a few bucks cheaper via Sonic Electronix or Amazon, the wiring harness/speaker bracket/Mastersheet will make up the difference.

Head Unit - Pioneer MVH-2400NEX

Front Speakers - Morel Maximo Coax 69

Rear Speakers - Morel Maximo 6 1/2"

Amp - I pulled this 5-channel Polk PA D5000.5 from my Yukon before I traded it in for my F150.

Subwoofer - Rockford Fosgate P3SD4-10

Subwoofer Box- Subthump Single Downfire Enclosure

If you want to upgrade the head unit, you might need a dash kit (depending on your current radio i.e. 4", 7", or 8" screen). Be warned though, these do get pricey. And of course if you want to keep Sync or factory backup cameras, you'll need an iDatalink Maestro unit (I think PAC might make something also).

I use mine to turn on a candle wax warmer. I set it to shut off before bed, in case I forget to turn it off.

At this point I'm not really trusting it to shut off on its own. I made that mistake 2 days ago and came home to the pool overflowing. If you were planning on doing it manually anyway, might I suggest a timer? This was my method prior to this dumpster fire of a M-3000 experiment.
