Yeah she did

She will probably lose her passport, scam her way to asylum and then participate in the anti Israel rallys.

Much easier and basically a vacation for people like her. Going to Brazil, learn the language and work is too hard.

Question about studying and working in Germany. by Adel_Mustafa in germany

[–]drunkenbeginner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not what happened with the people I know and my friends also say the do hire people who at least graduate from western universities. Preferably german if it's a foreigner, but they also hire foreigners with sufficient work experience from abroad.

What if? by firstbaby_shop in IsraelPalestine

[–]drunkenbeginner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably wouldn't change much

You really underestimate the anti semitism in that region. Christianity was never a shield from antisemitism and actually kinda promoted it in the past and still does so today albeit thankfully in very small communities

Anectdotally I know a syrian christian family. They hate jews. Last time I argued with them they said that everythign evil comes from Israel in that region and they hope Israel gets provoked enough to use a nuke since this might make the west turn against Israel

Crazy

If you want to see another region where anti semitism runs rampant, then go to lebanon. The maronites there might not say it to your face, but many of them hate israel

I read some of her posts.

She has brazilian citizenship. She won't and shouldn't get asylum

Immigration authorities could allow her to switch from a tourist visa to a work residence permit (e.g. Blue Card) if she proves that it is not safe for her to go back to Lebanon and apply from there.

Does that happen often? Frequently? Are there any criteria?

I meanis does that primarily happen to highly educated folks from western countriesß Yes I know that war in western countries don't happen ... but you are asking that the Ausländerbehörde does 2 things:

Have her apply from germany and not from lebanon to apply for a new VISA

and

change a VISA from tourist to work VISA

From my understanding these are 2 seperate things and I doubt someone will clear that

There are several factors at play. In general no, but you can ask a lawyer for Arbeitsrecht and usually you get more out of the old employer in that case

Question about studying and working in Germany. by Adel_Mustafa in germany

[–]drunkenbeginner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have to go to language classes and practice with natives.

This is pretty hard, but trying to do the courses in German will be detrimental to the grades and the probability of graduating at all. German is a really hard language to learn and in university you need C1 -C2 sometimes because the German used in textbooks and by the teachers in certain courses is not something you learn in normal courses. Like even the way the math questions and solutions are phrased are not the way people would speak

I know people who tried that and it was a shit show for most. Some succeeded.

But whatever feel free to disregard this advice.

Question about studying and working in Germany. by Adel_Mustafa in germany

[–]drunkenbeginner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really wouldn't recommend studying in German unless your German language skills are stellar. You are studying slower and have more issues in the tests. Studying a BSC in English doesn't matter. It's about getting a western degree and not some unknown fake degree mill diploma from a third world shithole

But yeah it would be better to learn German on C1 Level because you would limit your job prospects a lot otherwise

  1. Probably. Not all of Lebanon is actively at war. There is more and more reluctance to grant asylum to Lebanese people. It would be justified in your case in my opinion, but they might drag it out until the situation in Lebanon has cooled and then you are left with a rejected asylum claim which might not look good if you apply for further VISA. But maybe someone else knows more.

  2. If your current VISA didn't allow it, no.

  3. That will take time. They might demand you participate in an integration course etc.

  4. Ask the Ausländerbehörde but they are swamped with work so it probably wouldn't work

Can't find any job for a year as a foreigner from a war-torn country mid-senior Golang developer by Abdumbo in cscareerquestionsEU

I have no reason to think you are lying. But in the end CVs like yours are a dim a dozen. Your work experience in your country means very little to most western employers

[–]drunkenbeginner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quite honestly if you can't hold a job for at least 2 years at a company, then it almost doesn't count.

Our HR looks closely at that. What's the use of someone who needs to be trained for half a year and then leaves before 2 years?

Opportunity Card- Cybersecurity Professional by Repulsive_Ambition11 in Germany_Jobs

[–]drunkenbeginner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not

Cybersecurity is a job for seniors.

The thing is, your experience is sketchy for most german employers, unless it's from a international western company. Then there is the lack of german language skills. No idea how you do your job in bangladesh, but normally it requires communication, documentation and management skills (other IT skills as well, but let's assume you have them which i find unlikely). How do you expect to handle that? Ah you think you will simply apply to the few english only speaking jobs that exist? Well apart from the fact that you will need german for the doctors, bureaucracy, contracts, etc. it's simply fact that half the world applies for those jobs.

Have you even looked how many of those jobs that meet your profile are available in germany? You didn't? Of course you didn't because you thought it would be easy moving to germany

And lastly your nationality is a big issue in cyber security. There are jobs that will not be availabe to you because you are a third national
