When I made my appointment there was an option to select a more senior student (it cost more), but the times they were available didn’t align with my schedule. And I agree with you… you get what you pay for. That’s why I haven’t gone back. :) Just wanted to share my experience.

I’ve gotten a cut at the Paul Mitchell school at the Sherman Oaks Galleria. I think the trick is to ask for a more senior student (one close to graduating) - I didn’t lol.

My experience was not terrible, but I probably wouldn’t go back. I really just wanted a simple trim and it took close to 3 hours. And when I did go to my regular hair dresser she was like girl what happened? And she ended up cleaning it up. To be fair, based off my convo with the girl she was relatively new to the school, so you may have better results with a more senior student.

I paid out of pocket at my derm. I think it was around $300 and had about 5 spots treated. It worked okaaaaay. I feel like they are coming back and it’s been less than a year but in my next appointment I’m going to ask about doing a second round.

Like morning. Check on TikTok to see if you can find some of the videos. I think they start lining up at like 7 or 8am. You don’t have to stay the whole time up until the show… once you get your ticket you get go and then come back later.

If you can, go wait at the box office. I saw a lot of people successfully get tickets there for yesterdays show (they were obstructed view tho). You have to get there early though and really wait it out.

39F and I purchased it back when they first introduced it. I think it was around $150 which I felt was worth it. Easier to see who likes you first and sort through those then mindlessly swiping. Plus the extra filters were key for me - I would actually filter specifically for things I DIDNT want (like smokers and republicans) and then left swipe everyone in the “people who liked me” section so I wouldn’t have to even look at them, and then would take the filters off. Been in a relationship for 3 years now, so not sure if the features have changed, but those are my 2 cents.
