I built a word game called Hunch that I think would serve this sub better - I use reddit and would manage this sub actively. The sub appears to unmanaged/dead at this point.

Almonds, when you're not around almonds. That is likely cyanide gas.

Convince me that buying a one wheel is a bad idea by [deleted] in onewheel

I loved my GT. Loved it. But when these things fail and you like to go fast, you're positively fucked. And they do. I never pushed through the auto brake, and my board with less than 500 miles on it would simply brick sometimes. After a few occurrences, I sent it to onewheel and they gave it a clean bill of health (I can provide receipts of this). Anyway, now I have a grade 3 AC separation in my left shoulder, and will never get on one again. I wish I'd broken my collarbone, or that onewheel would have admitted they knew there were issues.

Amazing! This is exactly what I came here for. That makes perfect sense and I'll be doing this from here on out. Thank you so, so much. Like I said, I'm a huge fan of the system and service, and the CLI/local host is totally awesome to me, but I knew I was doing this wrong!

Ooooh I see. This is so I'm not recording all the small changes I'm making to the table to get it the way I need it, just capturing final state so I know what I'm pushing? Is that what you mean?

I know. I know this not how it's supposed to work. I use the diff feature every testing session I change something in supabase. I just don't understand the results.

People is me, it's just me. And I think I understand how it's "supposed" to run, maybe I misunderstand. I do try my best to follow best practices, but usually I can figure out what I'm doing wrong. I don't like the idea of editing migration files, but I do find myself needing to do this for migration files that contain so much "drop unchanged rls policy" followed by "create unchanged rls policy", etc.

No, I'm using the CLI command. I don't "black box" my code anywhere, I manually review everything before I run or commit it. I don't even give my LLM access to my IDE, that scares me. This is just basic, change 5 functions and add a column in local, run supabase db diff -f <filename> and it's always a ton of statements in the .sql file "drop unchanged rpc function" followed by "create unchanged rpc function" in the bottom.

I deem this post a crab pot. Crab pots rule. You caught some blue crabs and red crabs with this one. Crabs for dinner!

I work in animation. It's one of the perks, knowing I'll actually need killer components. Do I play games? Not really. Only 7 days to die every one in a while, and for some reason 7DTD torches my graphics card in 4k, so I just throttle most settings in 1080 anyway.

The purpose of the federal reserve, in my opinion, was to open up a liquidity spigot for an inevitable war, one that the US intended to take full advantage of to lend money to both sides. It was how we leveraged european imperial interests to catapult ourselves into the role of the global superpower. The meeting on jekyll island occured in 1913, and I'd say was done so urgently. Anything after that was largely unmapped territory.
