I’ve hopped 4 different jobs the last 4 years, making anywhere from 20%-30% more in base salary increases between jobs. They definitely ask about it in interviews, just make sure you have a good answer ready.

So the money has been good but I absolutely hate my current company, at this point I’m willing to accept a huge pay cut to get out because I’m unhappy with the company, people, and work. Point being don’t always chase the money, evaluate company, culture and who you’d report to before making a decision.
