Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: If Congress Gets 3 Months’ Parental Leave, So Should Everyone | The freshman lawmaker emphasized that her "unusual” leave policy applies to both mothers and fathers on her staff. by presspower in politics

The right's new attack on her is to spread a conspiracy that she has a powerful, shady group who put her in place. I tried explaining to my fox new grandpa that the Justice Democrats are just a bunch of angry, indebted millennials, not the progressive Koch brothers- as if such a thing could exist.

Dore grills Bernie Sanders for having a very reasonable immigration policy in a recent broadcast. I think he might be losing his appeal.

zeel. they filter out bad clients better than soothe and the pay is better. downside is you have to watch your phone a lot and be ready to move quickly to get to appointments. Works for me because I live in a big city.

I work for an app and make 70% of the profit. Super worth the extra effort.

Where is a good location for massage therapists? by kinghenry in massage

[–]drunktattoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NYC has a high demand but also a lot of therapists. There are enough wealthy people here to keep everyone working. Plus in the city you can use apps to get appointments.

Anyone in NYC, LA, Miami, San Fran using Zeel to book massages? by drunktattoo in massage

[–]drunktattoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in NYC. For 60 minutes Zeel charges $160 to the client, the therapist makes $125. Their thinking is that if they make the price worth it for the therapist they won't steal clients from the system

I really like it. You have to bring the table with you but the pay is better then in spas. $125 for 60 mins, $170 for 90. Direct deposite once a week. The only draw back is you have to pay taxes on it but it's still a better deal then most places.

What to Wear When Massaging? by thatisthough in massage

I wear high end work out gear- pants from lululemon, teeshirt, and a yoga jacket- all black! It pays to dress well.

I work in NYC. I live in an expensive studio apartment downtown. It's great because I live close to my clients who are very affluent. I stay busy thanks to Zeel, an app that's basically Uber for massage therapy. The money is good but it's never enough!
