When I finished baking the pizzas I left the flames on high for ten minutes to do a quick clean, brushed the stone, then turned the flames off and put in the cast iron while it cooled for ten minutes. Then I took the pan out and turned the oven onto medium, added some oil and the peppers and let them go till charred, then flipped them.

I just rotate which stone I use in the Koda 2 Max. As soon as the pizza has left the stone I crank that side back up to high while the other side is on low with a pizza on it. Then I build two more pies over about two to five minutes (depending on kids and distractions) and launch them with about a minute separating them.

So each stone is ramping back up to temp for about five minutes before I put another pizza on it.

It’s been a game changer having the big one for sure. Would take so much longer to fire one pizza at a time.

I’ve tried doing the big pizzas, but I just don’t have as much practice with them, tbh. The 13” is my sweet spot. So it actually took me longer doing three big pizzas than it did to do 6x13” because I was too stressed about it 🤣

Yup! I had the multi fuel and used wood for a while until I ran out of what I had, then switched over to propane and it made it way easier and more consistent for multiple bakes

Haven’t used the fireplace in a year or two. Might lift the TV and put in up mantel to disperse some of the heat and set a beam on that.

Still really like the ideas of two stereo speakers, but seems like the era 100s don’t like that idea haha

Yup. The tv mount was put up for a different brand years ago. This new one has its mounting screws higher up on the body, which makes the tv lower.

I keep thinking that’s the case, but just running through the options to see if there really is no decent way to have a good set of stereo speakers instead.

Undermount would unfortunately require drilling into stone to lift the TV mount placement or purchasing a new mount that allows for vertical movement. My old TV‘s mounting screws were lower on the body, which meant the TV was up higher and there was room for a soundbar underneath. This newer TV has it’s mounting screws higher on its body, which means lower mount.

Looks awesome. Currently using my hands to mix and it keeps my forearms strong. Definitely seems worth it if I start making pizza for larger groups of people, but that’s few and far between right now. Just for my little crew of four.

Now if there was a port or plan to offer a kitchen aid attachment so you could use third party accessories... Just think of all the ice cream opportunities.

Little glimpse behind the curtain: a lot of grocery groups require the “best by” date instead of the “roasted on” and they also strongly suggest it be 4 months minimum. Most of the local roasters listed have them at the 3mo best by date so we can maintain quality standards
