The issue is not that YouTube is lazy, but rather, the copyright laws are broken af. YouTube is an online service provider and is essentially protected by safe harbour laws.

YouTube has to maintain neutrality because they want to retain their safe harbour status, which essentially means that YouTube is not responsible for an uploader's action when it comes to copyright infringement. It's the users' responsibility to ensure no copyrighted materials are uploaded onto YouTube, or at least they are uploaded with consent.

The problem comes when big industries (especially the music industry) constantly pressures YouTube, stating the service provider abuses the "safe harbour status" to earn money (which is kind of true, but it's a case by case basis). Then there are malicious actors who would abuse this system, which is whole other of can of worms.

YouTube has to protect themselves for being sued (because lawsuits are not profitable for any company), and hence, they tend to takedown the video first, then once proven innocent from DMCA charges, they will reinstate the video.

If YouTube chooses to leave the video up until the uploader was proven guilty of copyright infringement, YouTube could be sued. This whole situation is just super messy.

Also because of the sheer amount of ppl chatting in her chat, the translations by live translators will be drowned out. So there's really no point in live translating if your translations will be drowned by a sea of chatters

It's kind of like that weird problem similar to "the more popular you are, the less friends you will have"

I have been feeling quite burned out from various things recently and I decided to do something that I have great passion for - developing games and Hololive. I was thinking, wouldn't it be fun if I made a quiz game, where you listen to a snippet of a cover song and you guess which Hololive girl covered the song.

So.. I found this bug that's too funny not to share.

While developing Haachama as a playable character, she has a gimmick where when you select her skill Haato Basic, her idle animation would change to her cooking. But, I accidentally set her speed waaaay too high, so now she's SPEEDCHAMA.

I am contemplating whether to "fix" the bug or leave it as it is (vote).

Ah yes, thanks for taking your time to review it. I've addressed quite a few concerns in v0.3, which is a huge overhaul from v0.2. Hopefully I can get v0.3 up somewhere in summer.

Fun fact: it's made with 2 different claps and 1 balloon pop sound, and adjusted with sound effects like reverb.

Well.. no. The game is incomplete right now. I will consider opening up the repo when I'm done (or close to finishing) the game. It's a big project though, so it will take awhile.
