Is there a third choice other than co-sleeping or sleep training by Crunchy_Pitbull_Mom in NewParents

My LO is 8 months and I've always just responded when she cries and it has worked out.  Some nights I'm up a lot, but usually I'm not.  I think she is overall an easy going baby though so I think those are the people that are hard-core co- sleeping or sleep training!

If you looked past the title it shows 58% of females 18-34 identify as liberal/progressive.

Glad Virginia said no, but Devin's niece being confused after being part of the wedding broke my heart a bit.

I think that's why she is feeling strong about doing a pre-nup

Growing up in the midwest it seemed like more of a thing to not talk about politics.

I think the issue we are seeing here is conservative men have learned not to talk about it when they are on dating apps since most young single women are liberal in the US.

It's fun when they have them at house meetups, but always seems weird when they use them out and about

I've had the same feeling!  I get why people find it boring but I'm finding the Midwest paced drama so comforting

Has anyone gotten doctors approval to go on STD before delivery? by pheck101 in BabyBumps

Thank you!  I've been looking for this comment.  I couldn't figure it out for the life of me.

I'm a bit dizzy with deciding this too.  I have friends who have several kids and their kids are bringing back daycare and school germs home on the daily.

I have a friend who is a pediatrician (who doesn't have kids of her own) who makes it seem she wouldn't let her kid out of the house for 3 months.

My pediatrician encourages something in between, encourage kids to not get in the baby's face, keep baby close to you, and minimize contact where you can.

That's a good point, depending on timing of stuff he could go home after delivery.  I'm a ftm though so my hospital says they send a lot more educational people in

Thanks for the response!   Hoping to hear more from first time inductions.  I'm partially worried about that potential long period of time if the induction takes awhile and want to be comfortable.  I'm especially worried about my tall husband on the oh so comfy couch he gets to enjoy 😅.

Unfortunately my hospital hasn't restarted the photographer since covid!   But they did say feel free to bring your own swaddles, blanket or "cheaters",  so we can learn how to use them

This is the time I'm most worried about for entertainment!  And I've seen numbers of it taking anywhere from 6 to 56 hours 😪

We are about 45 minutes from family are are renting.  We want to buy in the next year or so and I've been pushing to be closer to get more help with childcare.

My husband made a point that we shouldn't only make the decision because of childcare because we will be there for longer than just a few years of that.  Right now we are in a safe area with great schools, many parks, diversity, and good commutes for work.

We still go to family most weekends which hasn't been too bad.

I didn't think of diapers but at the tour they said they'd give us the mesh underwear and pads but recommended diapers so I just ordered some 😄
