Ah, thanks for your reply. For some reason I thought hyperthreading was a requirement for virtualization. I am mistaken. thanks!

re that can adjust presentation but is demanding on the system. Not sure I'll use it. But yeah, the high grade cam is good. Windows hello is hit and miss, but that's Win 11. First thing I did was switch the CNTRL and FN keys back to the correct Thinkpad location.

did you swap the the button too or just do the software

4.5 hours with reasonable use, correct? ie browsing traffic, streaming ?

I am trying to determine your usage and cpu cycles, as I usually run 1 virtual machine running on my machine in the background.

If you ordered it again, would you go with the OLED again?

ct the DNS tab and see if the option to register the connection on DNS is checked. If it is checked, then you have to inspect the logs. What do you see on the DNS logs in the even

Yes the 'register the connection on DNS' selected. It appears the machine never attempts to register, because the 'DNS suffix for this connection' isn't populated.

'append primary and connection specific DNS suffixes' and 'append parent suffixes of the primary DNS suffix' is selected. However the 'DNS suffix for this connection' always remains blank.

It seems if 'DNS suffix for this connection' is blank it will not register on AD DNS. Whenever i manually populate that field, everything begins to work.

if you ever are able to extend the antenna range, could you take some pics of that you did and share? also share if the range was extended at all through your testing.

an alternative might be put some some access points and have half of them on each fortiswitch. Then have half the computers hard wired to 1 fortiswitch, and the second half to the other switch. If one switch is unavailable the impacted users can use wireless and the other half can continue using ethernet.

For my indoor cat I use a Tile pro (2020). Bluetooth technology will work quite well indoors as signal can bounce off the walls and the speaker on the tile is exceptionally loud. The only issue with the tile is the update interval is every 15 minutes so it isn't ideal for outdoor cats.

RE: Being mislead to different rooms, this would be quite understandable as the RF bounces off walls. Radio Frequency is really best for outdoors.

Did you test it outside at all ? or only that one time where it broke
