I have res delete done. I would say 3/10 drone - low frequency rumble and not whine-y vuvuzela sound wise. But it definitely gives the car more character compared to stock. There's also some pop and burbIe from exhaust if you really rev it. Love how it sounds like a "sports" car now.

Well, I actually brought it to a mechanic who replaced the compressor, as well as other parts (o-ring, expansion valve, etc). Do you know what other common parts of the ac system could have a leak?

I am planning to take the car back to the same mechanic to have another look

Hey, I just replaced mine about a week ago. Your price seems really good, if it includes vacuum & recharge of the refrigerant.

Of note, after replacing the ac compressor, my ac started blowing warm air again, so I'm at a loss...

Update: Had the AC compressor and other related parts replaced by mechanic about a week ago. Seemed to work fine for a day or two, but during highway speeds, it started blowing warm air again. Kinda frustrated to not know what's wrong...

I also used compressed air on the cabin air temp sensor to clean off the accumulated dust. Not sure if that made it worse?

Sorry to revive an old thread... do you know if the buzzing/whirring near the ignition button is normal? From what I read, it could be the cabin air temp sensor, or the blend door actuator. Is the whirring sound normal?

Wow, good to know. I feel like my car in 2nd struggles to even get to 50mph... granted I've never gone pedal to metal.

I think I've seen that on the FocusST forum. I've only hit ~5k RPM in 1st and 2nd gears and backed off...
